What can I do on WatchMe?
Tap Randomizer to meet someone new on live video and skip whenever you like, join a group room of up to 5 (there is an all-women room), ring friends from the Call tab, block phone numbers you never want to match with, and put a custom background behind you. Account requirements are listed in the Terms.
What does WatchMe cost?
Membership is $2 to start, then $1 per month until canceled. A one-time guest pass is $2 for 6 hours. Custom backgrounds are a one-time $1 unlock. The full billing breakdown is in the Terms.
Can I use WatchMe without starting a membership?
Yes. A one-time guest pass is $2 for up to 6 hours of guest access after payment. Guests complete the same account checks as members before matching, and a guest pass does not create a recurring subscription.
When can I cancel?
You can schedule cancellation from your profile 24 hours after account creation. Your membership remains active through the current billing period, and future renewal is then stopped.
What is a Ribbon?
A Ribbon is not a badge for being reported. An account gets a Ribbon when it comes out of the Doghouse. The first Ribbon lasts 1 day, or can be removed early for $1. Each new offense doubles it: the second Ribbon lasts 2 days or $2, the third 4 days or $4, and so on.
Is a Ribbon a badge for being reported?
No. Reports by themselves never add a Ribbon; a Ribbon only follows a Doghouse exit. The Ribboned account can remove it early with the one-time fee described above.
What does it cost to leave the doghouse?
Three qualifying report strikes place an account in the doghouse. The first paid restriction lift costs $1, the second costs $2, the third costs $3, and each later paid lift increases by another $1. Paying the fee lifts the restriction but does not erase report records.
Are payments refundable?
Except where a refund is required by law, all sales are final and payments are non-refundable. That includes membership charges, guest passes, custom-background unlocks, Ribbon early-clear payments, and doghouse restriction-lift fees.
How does location work?
WatchMe uses your device location only while you're actively trying to match so the active search pool can be sorted nearest-first. Your precise location is not saved to your account and is discarded when you're matched, stop searching, or leave. Other users see only a rounded relative distance in miles, never your coordinates.
Does WatchMe store my ID, video, or audio?
Stripe Identity performs the identity check, and WatchMe receives only the result it needs to control access. WatchMe does not record or store call video or audio by default. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can someone screenshot or record a call?
WatchMe's in-app capture flow requires your explicit consent for each screenshot or recording occurrence. WatchMe cannot prevent someone from using operating-system features, another device, or other external methods to capture a call. Capturing or redistributing call content without consent violates the rules.
What happens when I block or report someone?
Blocking ends contact right away, and only you — the person who made the block — can undo it. The blocked account can never remove it. Three qualifying report strikes automatically place an account in the Doghouse under the published rules, and leaving the Doghouse starts a Ribbon. Reports and any valid captured evidence are retained for the owner, who is WatchMe's sole moderator. Evidence is not attached to alert emails or forwarded to a moderation vendor. See the Community Guidelines.
Are referrals available?
Yes. Share your referral link from Settings. You earn $1 cash for each genuinely new member who signs up with your link and pays for a second month, with no limit. Once your available balance reaches $12, you can request a payout to Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. People who had a WatchMe account before don't count. Full rules are in the Terms.
