Looking for a Flingster alternative? What WatchMe brings to live video chat

Last updated September 26, 2026

Flingster sits in the broad category of random-match video chat services. If you're comparing options, the useful question is what you can actually do once you're in: how matching works, how easy it is to move on, and what tools you keep during every call.

How WatchMe is built

WatchMe is live 1:1 and small-group video chat. Tap Randomizer to meet someone new, and skip to the next person whenever you like. Want more people at once? Join a group room of up to 5 — there is even an all-women room. The Call tab rings your friends, you can block phone numbers you never want to match with, and a custom background can sit behind you on video.

Blocking is immediate, and only the person who made a block can undo it; the blocked person can never remove it. Three qualifying report strikes currently trigger an automatic doghouse restriction, and WatchMe's own in-app capture flow asks for explicit consent each time.

WatchMe cannot prevent someone from using operating-system capture, another device, or other external recording methods, so keep personal information out of the camera frame.

Try it

Membership is $2 to start, then $1/month. A guest pass is $2 for 6 hours, and custom backgrounds are a one-time $1. Get started on WatchMe, or read the FAQ and community guidelines first.
